Biography
As the fires raged in The Forest of Life, dragons from all over The Sea of Atlantis rushed in to stop the blaze from getting worse, using all of their power to try and control the blaze. As little creatures scampered out of the flames, burned from the escape, two dragons ran out of the flames. Flaire and Kaal. They were traveling merchants from The Undead falls. As they ran out, Flair realized that in their rush to leave the blaze, they had forgotten to bring their young egg. “OH NO! WE FORGOT THE EGG!” Flaire yelled, over the roaring fire. “WE NEED TO GO GET IT!” Kaal yelled back. The two dragons rushed to the nearest water elemental dragon, and explained their situation. “Okay. I will help you get your egg back.” Watersong the Spiral replied, concern spreading across her face.
Watersong lead the way, putting out any fires in the way of the path to Kaal and Flaire’s nomadic den, with Kaal and Flaire telling Watersong which way to go. By the time the three dragons reached the den, the blaze had gotten very close to it, and was getting closer and closer by the second. The two dragons rushed in, scared that the flames had gotten to the egg.
By the time the dragons got in their den a few cracks had formed in the shell of their child’s egg. “Watersong! Get here quick!” Kaal said, rushing out of the den, “The egg’s hatching!”
“We can’t go anywhere until the egg has hatched,” Watersong said, panicking. “I will try and protect you from the fire.” “Thank you so much, Watersong, this means so much to us.” Flaire said happily, tears in her eyes.
The next hour went by, seeming like days, as more cracks formed in the small egg’s shell. “I can’t hold the flames back much longer!” Watersong cried out, as a tiny Imperial head popped out of the den. “Oh. My. Gods. She’s adorable!” Watersong cried. “Thank you for protecting us, Watersong. We will be sure to mention this special bravery to your Leader.” Flaire said, glancing at Kaal , who was nodding his head in agreement, “Yes. In fact, We will, somehow, repay you for risking your life to help us. We can’t thank you enough.” he said. Tears formed in Watersongs eyes from the smoke. “No need to thank me. It is my duty to help dragons in need of help, especially in situations like this.” Watersong replied, modestly, “Okay, we should go now that she’s hatched.” “Okay. Come on, sweetheart, we need to go.” Flaire said to her newborn hatchling, and the little Imperial scampered onto her mothers’ back. “Okay. We’re ready to go.” Kaal said, as Watersong began leading the trio out of the flames.
About an hour passed before the four got out of the flaming forest. More critters were trying to escape the flames than ever before. “OKAY! EVERYBODY GET ON OUR BACKS AND WE WILL TAKE YOU GUYS OUT OF THE FLAMES!” Watersong yelled, having a few scratches cauterized by the heat of the blaze, as critters from all directions began climbing up the dragons back. The four dragons then began heading towards the area that they had entered from an hour and forty-five minutes beforehand. About a half-hour later, all of the dragons escaped the inferno. When the dragons left the blaze, there were dozens of dragons already waiting. “What were you doing out there?” Watersongs’ leader asked, his voice booming over the whispers. “Sir, Watersong was helping me and Kaal out. We left our egg in the fire, and she was helping us get it, but the egg hatched, and...” Flaire was cut off by Watersongs’ Commander. “No need to explain any further. Watersong, what you did was incredibly stupid, you could have gotten injured, or even, killed. But today, Watersong, I am stepping down from being commander, and I am moving your position to lead Commander.” The Nocturne said, giving Watersong the water elemental Salute. "I think we're going to name our new hatchling Fireshine." Flaire said, with the young dragon bounding between her legs.
