SHIZUKA Theme: None || Japanese Origins Whereupon the Sea meets Windsinger's domain, one may follow the path up the streams trickling in-land towards the Zephyr Steppes; the Temple of Tide's Streams is not far off shore, like a beacon calling travelers to safety. The first impression of its Priestess lingers: most would say that Shizuka is of a gentle and good heart, keeping watch over the land and ready to aid any travelers and creatures that wash up on the shore after a great storm. Anyone that find themselves in need of aid would be greeted with a warm smile and might be seen off with a cheeky glance from time to time -- yet no one has ever heard the dragoness' voice. It is said that, once upon a time, Shizuka had been a youthful creature up to mischief and tricks, always seeking the thrill of adventure and chasing the breeze; she could be seen dancing in the skies while softly humming her beautiful and lively Song. However, her adventurous spirit would be her demise, as one day when crossing the Sea of a Thousand Currents the dragoness was got caught in a great storm that nearly took her life. Shizuka washed up on the Zephyr shores, with blurry memories of the incident, and was only after healing that she realized that her voice was gone, and her song was forever muted. There are whispers that the Tidelord heard the dragoness in her despair and decided to spare her life in return for her Song. Over time she has stopped caring about the whispers, because her happiness lays here, in the shores that she has made into her quiet and quaint home, where she can live in peace.
