PERSONALITY

Malevolent. A dragon that is rarely talked about, seen, or even known. She is the second oldest child (behind Vigilante) of Queen Meyry. She is strictly reserved, and her expression never seems to change from that cold, solemn glare. Her key component is that her memory is so vast and clear, it is like every experience she encounters is forever carved into her mind. No need to repeat names, to explain situations, or even remind her of events and relations - she knows it all.

ABOUT

Just like her mother, Malevolent is intelligent and authoritative.

Her reserved demeanor belies a sharp intellect and strategic awareness that make her an exceptional Commander-in-Chief on the battlefield. Her extraordinary memory becomes a formidable asset in battle planning and navigation, elevating her leadership to an unparalleled level.

In the midst of war councils, Malevolent's mind serves as a living war room, where every historical conflict, tactical maneuver, and strategic decision is at her immediate disposal. She effortlessly draws upon the lessons of the past, avoiding the pitfalls that have ensnared others and exploiting the successes that have proven effective. Her encyclopedic knowledge of military history, coupled with her innate understanding of the present, grants her a unique perspective that few can rival.

Malevolent's ability to recall minute details about terrains, enemy movements, and past encounters allows her to create meticulously detailed battle plans. She envisions the battlefield with unparalleled clarity, foreseeing potential challenges and devising innovative strategies to overcome them. Her memory serves as a dynamic map, updating in real-time as the situation unfolds, giving her an edge in adapting to changing circumstances on the fly.

Overall, in the chaotic dance of warfare, Malevolent emerges as a silent but formidable force, navigating the complexities of battle with the precision of a grandmaster. Her memory, like a living strategy guide, guides her through the ebb and flow of conflict, leaving an indelible mark on the battlefield and etching her legacy as a Commander-in-Chief whose prowess extends far beyond the reaches of the known.

As for social life, she does not harbor strong relationships with other dragons enough to truly have one. Because of her cruel mother as well as her own cold and calloused demeanor, many are hesitant to even approach her. It is also well known that she is exceptionally beautiful - even more so than her sisters - further adding to her unapproachable presence.

Starfall Isles | Chaotic Neutral | Monarchy

KBDQASr.png

The Amatista Reino, or the Amethyst is a kingdom not to be reckoned with. They may seem tame and innocent to the naked eye - especially with the glamourous silks and delicate features of the royal family - but they have a deadly bite that no dragon wishes to be the victim of, especially the bite of their Queen, Meyry, the founder of the kingdom.

» Origins «
KBDQASr.png

______ The Amethyst was created by Meyry herself, alongside Florence, Colrath, and the late spiral Aoi. The Amethyst is known to their civilians and allies to be heavily strict, rather cruel to outsiders who question their morals and consists of equally unsettling dragons and practices. The idea of a kingdom sparked when Meyry witnessed not only her first battle but a fall of a dynasty through war. She was not afraid nor depressed when it had passed, and instead felt desire, and inspired to have her talons on such power to take down other kingdoms. The name Amethyst came from one of the only remaining existence of that fallen kingdom; an amethyst. ______ The kingdom is located on the border of the Tourmaline Archives and the Starwood Strand, right off the edge of the land. A large forcefield summoned by magic users within protects the kingdom from the Starfall Isles dangers such as wayward debris and the infamous astral rain that falls upon the land - similar to Astrolodome. The community is large and the palace is magically carved from a stray peak from the Crystalspine Reaches that stood alone until discovered. Because they are also near the border of the Southern Icefield, temperatures are rather cool and abnormal snow falls late in the year.

Respect and discipline is a large factor of the kingdom, and it is expected that all dragons contribute and act upon these principles - even the nastiest dragons in the kingdom know where to draw the line when it comes to mischief, and therefore crime within the folk are very minimal (however, outsiders aren't as treated to that luxury unless permitted citizenship or has a pass by a high-rank dragon as a guest). The dynasty consists of Meyry and her children, as well as dragons who're lucky enough to be deemed worthy as royalty.

Despite strict rules and watch, dragons are relatively happy where they are as being a part of a powerful nation is quite a relief and would fill any dragon with some sense of pride - and as mentioned before crime within the area is low. However the crime of disrespecting the Queen or the royal family is a high one, and even a whisper of doubt can end in execution at best. Therefore, dragons in the Amethyst are all utterly and completely loyal to Meyry, whether they like it or not.

» Groups «
KBDQASr.png

Within the Amethyst there are many affiliations and unique groups that all one way or another assist the Queen and the Kingdom. Some of these labels and groups seem suspicious to downright terrifying, however to the dragons of the Amethyst they are trusted and respected.

Royalty:

This is where dragons with relation to Queen Meyry or those of high status stay. The Amethyst runs on monarchy, and they thrive in a palace carved from one of the high peaks of the Crystalspine Reaches, decorated with glamourous trinkets and lights. An unnerving aura surrounds them.
Being royal comes with its own struggles, as even they are required to follow strict rulings by Meyry herself;

- All servants and royal family members MUST wear a signature star earring to signify their status (applies to the Queen)

- Those within the Royal Family prohibited to leave the premises of the manor without at least two servants alongside them, can be lowered to one on special permission.

- Must not intermingle with lair affiliations unless conducted so by Queen Meyry herself.

- Partners are required be approved by Queen Meyry before allowing them to be together.

- They are not to slander the Queen even if they are family - this could lead to execution or exhalation depending on how severe and their overall status.

- Must always remember their formalities when socializing with other lairs

Magic Wielders:

Magic Wielders are the second-highest rank in the dynasty. These dragons do not possess normal magic - actually, it's far from normal magic. They are not related to the royal family and serve as powerful beings servicing their abilities for the kingdom such as fortune-telling, magical barriers, etc.
Their powers can be as amazing as they are dangerous and even destructive, however, Meyry does not seem to mind how severe their powers are - she will still allow them a place and warm welcome if they in turn agree to serve her.

Heart of the Kingdom:

The Heart of the Kingdom is where the majority of the commoners strive. They follow the basic principles of the Amethyst and can be quite intense with newcomers, especially due to their odd nature and personalities. Dragons here can be many things, both normal and unsettling.

School and Library:

The Amethyst school and library are a large source of the kingdom's knowledge. Classes here can span from Literature to Engineering taught by talented individuals. The library was originated by Pavoreal, an incredibly famous dragon in the kingdom, who had given up bloodshed for knowledge long ago. A few years later the library finally stretched out and became an international school. Anyone may attend the school, regardless of where they live - however, it's incredibly difficult to apply, as once again the Amethyst is a very strict and prestigious place and does not accept any dragon they deem as unworthy and invitations from the school itself are equally as rare.

Warriors:

Where the Warriors of the Amethyst live depends on their ranking. Apprentices, guards, hunters, etc. They help hold peace within the kingdom and provide the community with their findings during their expeditions. They are trained to think smart and have strong loyalty and morals, they plan their attacks before performing and are often known to be cold dragons. The Warriors are Meyry's favorite, enjoying watching over their training sessions and even assisting in combat. Commander Ashahina is Meyry's closest friend when it comes to business and attacks, and she controls and organizes all the warriors and patrols.

Elementals:

The Elementals are the representatives of each element of the Sornieth. They have abnormal abilities based on their representation and live apart in separate homes. They are generally worshiped by the citizens, however similar to the royal family they have their own unique rules to follow; No hatchlings without permission from the Queen, and they must be accompanied by a butler or warrior often and notify them about their whereabouts. They are rarely allowed out of the Kingdom's bounds since they are considered one of the most valuable dragons in the Kingdom.

Nightwatchers:

Nightwatchers aren't usually nocturnal, nor directly aligned to the Moon & night sky. Only Estrella and Centelleo - siblings with unnatural powers - follow both traits. The group is best known for secrecy & nightly rituals consisting of deciphering the language of the stars & rather dark rumors. However they are strictly independent & full gatherings are extremely rare. Getting in is nearly impossible.

Outskirts:

These dragons do not directly associate with the Amethyst, they are more like small connections and singular allies rather than actual citizens. They usually hold much power and mystery around them most of the time and are scarcely seen by the normal ranking dragons of the kingdom.

Queen Meyry is a fierce and violent Queen, and would go to any length to prove her power - even at the cost of others lives. This had fooled Queen Bloodspiller of the Bloodystars. The guardian had schemed against her ever since Meyry had set out to start her own dynasty when she was young - Meyry however was not unaware of the creul nature of this world, and therefore knew of her foes every step. The fae was filled with hatred and anger by the guardian's traitorous actions. Not only did Meyry looked up to the Plague Queen at first - but she was merely being toyed with by said admiration - she hated that. Soon Bloodspiller’s own clan fell into shambles almost suddenly. Food filled with poisons led to dragons in the clan to starve or die off - those who were still alive were sent away or kept into Meyry's kingdom based on their position and especially looks. The once forty-one dragons that striven with Bloodspiller had dwindled down to merely ten when the vengeance was done. One last confrontation between the queens lead to the end of the Bloodystars - least so she thought.

A similar mistake was done by a young mirror, Queen Eclipse. Meyry had heard news of Eclipse starting her clan from her messengers - who was sent to plead for Meyry's assistance under the promise of a useful ally. Meyry hesitantly accepted Eclipse's offer and they had many discussions for the future of Eclipse’s growing lair. Eclipse, as a proper shadow dragon would, truly believed she had the upper hand with her façade. She was convinced she was using the queen for treasure and supplies, all the while Meyry caught on quick of the mirrors true intentions and simply decided to play along - she found it rather entertaining. During this time, Eclipse had a dragon Meyry was highly interested in, Caeda - and it wasn't long before Meyry had grown bored of Eclispe's schemes. Betraying Eclipse by leading an invasion, she sent her army to plan and initiate an ambush to attack as many of Eclispe's dragons, including Caeda’s family. She ordered Colrath to make sure the wanted Skydancer was flying towards the kingdom after purposely letting her run away so he may recruit her in. The plan had succeeded, Caeda unaware that the cause of her families death was herself.
