A recent immigrant from the allied Dust Bleak, Rauken didn't immediately fit in with the city of Refuge proper. Then, he met Tesai. The necromancer quickly snapped up his allegiance as a claw for hire- Seere's visions tell Tesai where to get corpses and items of power, but it's no good to get it on his own. That's where Rauken comes in. He knows how to scavenge safely, and is a, ah, skilled bone extractor in case they're a little stubborn.

Whether that means they're in a living body or just entombed in a cairn, that's best not to ask.

He works out of a corner of Sidh's Gate, to Caoin's distaste. She doesn't like the ambigous dirt he brings in, and often makes him shake off before entering to minimize the dust spread once he takes up his seat in the corner. He's a tentative employee of Onuava as well, making him thoroughly entwined with the inn's patrons. She's the one who made him his jade ring- he claims the newly carved hunk (that he stole from a tomb) helps ward off guilt from his unorthodox job, but that's a tentative claim at best.

Gangly man with lean muscled limbs, an absolutely disastrous unkempt mane, with at least 3 daggers visible on him at any time. Covered in tight fitting leather armor, with rags atop it to make him look more like a vagrant than what he is. Almost always dirty.

Genuinely adores Caoin (in a non romantic way) even though she seems distasteful towards him. Just thinks she's wonderful, though he doesn't know her secret. Doesn't even know that Tesai is tied to her. Has never even seen her in draconic form.

Brings her gifts, sometimes. They're definitely robbed from a grave. She doesn't approve, but appreciates the gifts anyway despite always saying they're going in the trash.
