Arivryn was fourteen at the time of her first death. After being reborn and relocating to the Black Canvas, Arivryn was ordered to remain home with the majority of the Tenarians. Under such a condition, Ari envied the BTs that were allowed to independently access the outer worlds.

Arivryn quickly developed a past-time of bugging the returning Tenarians about their experiences outside the Black Canvas. The energetic, curious girl soon became an annoyance to her kind. If she wasn't pestering Tenarians about the outer worlds, she was drawing what she remembered from before her first death.

Kyros, the social mediator, confronted Arivryn about her immature nagging. Ari confessed her jealousy and desire to be more involved. Kyros forwarded her request to their leader, Kaito. Finally, the two decided both to solve the misconduct and enlighten Arivryn's spirit, they would appoint her as a warrior apprentice.

Upon promoting Arivryn, it became apparent that she was quite a basket case. Kyros decided to ask the leaders of the warriors, Apostolos and Deterse, who would be the best mentor for Arivryn. Deterse immediately suggested Oddazy, who was more than happy to take her under his wing. And so, Arivryn began her fighting lessons. After six months of practice, Oddazy got permission to take Arivryn to the outer worlds to assist during short missions.
