Biography

Alisha [Al-ee-sha] - Female - Daigon's Caretaker/Friend
Main Story: 1 - New Home
___________________________________________________________________________________

Alisha lay her head against the soft fur running down Daigon's neck. 'How long do we have to travel for?' she gave a weak complaint.

'Until we find somewhere to settle in.' Daigon's gruff voice replied. Anyone else hearing his voice would assume he was annoyed and likely take offense. Some gave their own disapproving comments, while few retaliated physically.

Alisha sighed in fustration. 'And how long will that be, Daig? Days? Months? Years?' She had a distain for lengthy travels, and this was getting too much.

'Stop exagerating.' Daigon shot back. 'Would you rather a place to call home or try and survive in the middle of nowhere? Can't be much further.'

Alisha sighed, glancing off to the side. '...sorry.' she muttered, shutting her eyes.

'What for?'

'I'm annoying you, aren't I?'

'Barely. You know I can put up with a lot more then you're giving me in problems. But, if you insist you're at fault, I forgive you.' Daigon's lips turned up into a slight smirk.

'You always do. It's rare you call me out for my garbage.' Alisha returned, one of her small claws raking through the soft fur. 'Thanks, Daigon.' She gently started to drift into sleep. Her small yawn gave the larger dragon enough of a hint of that.

'Sleep tight, Ali.' He chuckled slightly to himself, now being careful to let her rest. He knew he had to keep moving. Hopefully by the time he found a suitable area, she would be just about to awake.

It took a few hours, but Daigon finally found an area of land he felt confortable with. He shook himself a little bit. 'Alisha?' He tried to gently wake her, smiling as he felt claws shift his fur slightly. 'Told you it wouldn't take long.'

Alisha fluttered her wings to suspend herself next to him, level with his head. 'Okay, you were right this time. I'll give you that much.' She lightly bumped against his shoulder, enticing a broader smile out of Daigon. Laid out infront of them was a decent area away from the pools of lava in the Emberglow Hearth. Off to one side was a fairly small cave, thought it wouldn't uncomfortably small for either of them. 'So...we settle here?'

Daigon made forward to the cave. 'I don't see why not. If we need to move later, we can. This will do. For now, at least.' Alisha hurried after him.

Companion's Story: Aurelia 2 - Peacekeeper

___________________________________________________________________________________

Alisha accompanied Aurelia on a short look around the feldgling Clan's home. 'Dear, your home here must be made larger if you want to be a clan. And it needs to be inviting to others who veiw it.' Aurelia wasn't trying to sound mean about it, and Alisha could tell. 'Your friend Daigon must make burrows for other dragon's of his size, and of your's.'

'What about you, Aurelia? And, other Skydancer's, and big dragons?' Alisha asked in return.

'Don't worry about that, dear. I have contacts in merchants, so procuring materials to make shelter shouldn't be very hard. All it comes down to is the building. I will take care of that.' Aurelia reasoned.

'A merchant?'

'Yes. I must remember to creat appropriate storage for our food and our hoard. We will need money to conduct business, after all.'

Alisha was amazed. 'You really know what you're talking about! How do you know all this?'

Aurelia smiled. 'My old Clan was a very good one. Maybe one day, I'll take you to see it.'

'Do you ever miss home?'

The question slightly surprised her. She glanced down to Diagon, who had walked over to them. 'What do you mean, dear?'

'Your old Clan. Miss anyone from there?' Daigon repeated himself. Alisha noted the tone he was using. It sounded like he trying to find something to relate to within Aurelia.

'Sometimes. I'm not one to get homesick very often, dear, but there were a few good characters there. Sometimes I wonder how they're doing...' Aurelia replied, a hint of sadness in her voice.

'I...can understand that.' Daigon hesitated to reply. 'It doesn't matter. I'm going to sleep'

As Daigon wandered away, Aurelia took a moment to ponder. When Alisha came into her field of view, she smiled a little. 'I'm sure dragons back home are doing well. Make sure he knows that, okay?' She nodded to her. 'I wish a moment alone. Just for peace, to think.'

'That's fine, Aurelia. See you in a bit!' Alisha smiled broadly and flew back to the cave.

Companion's Story: Cullen 4 - Flustered

___________________________________________________________________________________

'I can do it. Yeah, easy, I can say it.'

Cullen, now with the branches of Gladeboughs carefully fit on his shoulders by Aurelia, paced outside the main cave. After what the Skydancer had told him, he thought he was confident enough to let Daigon know he was in love. Rubi sat nearby, with Alisha resting on her head.

'Does he always do this?' Rubi asked the Fae.

'Nope. But be fair to him, this is Daigon he's confessing to.' Alisha replied.

Rubi shrugged. 'Big deal?'

Cullen came over to them, clearly not as ready as he wanted to be. 'Yeah, it is. I've known him for a long time and I kinda don't want to spoil our friendship like this.'

'Really?' Rubi replied, with genuine surprise.

'What's with that look?'

'I've had friends try to ask me out. Quite a few times, actually.'Cullen's expression changed from slight annoyance to small shock. 'Guys, girls, the dragons inbetween. They had no problems with me turning them down.'

'Wow, they sound really brave. I wouldn't like to think I'm about to say that might offend you.' Alisha replied with a wide smile.

'Meh. They weren't threats, so I can't be offended by them.'

'That's great, but I don't want to lose this opportunity.' Cullen replied, his tone getting slightly desperate.

Rubi nodded past him, confusing the Skydancer. 'Leave it to you then. Good day, Daigon.' Cullen froze for a minute, as Rubi walked away with Alisha giving him an encouraging smile.

'Thought she wasn't trying to bully you anymore.' Daigon voice brought Cullen out of his own world and he turned to come face-to-face with the dragon.

'She's not, she's not. We were just...talking, yeah.' Cullen tried to hide any nerves with a smile.

Daigon chuckled. 'That's good.' His eyes shifted to the Gladeboughs. 'My guess is the pretty flowers made her realise you weren't so bad.' he joked.

Cullen glanced off to the side, blushing. 'W-Well I mean, maybe, b-but I didn't really get these f-for her...'

'If you're missing home, I can get Aurelia to take you back.' Daigon semed oblivious to the blushing mess standing infront of him. Cullen shook his head rapidly. 'Alright well... I'm gonna hunt for a bit, more mouths to feed around here. Catch you tonight, if you're not out cold by then.'

Daigon turned and walked away. Cullen's mouth opened and closed as he tried to find the words to call out. As he moved further away, Cullen reached out to no effect. 'I love you...' was all he could mutter to himself. In defeat, he fell onto his stomach with a heavy sigh.

'Your tried at least?' Out of nowhere, Aurelia was at the dragon's side, laying down with him. 'It's something. Don't give up yet.'

'It was a half-hearted attempt at best...' Cullen groaned from the floor.

A claw found it's way underneath him, picking him up as he automatically made to support himself with his legs. 'Well, there's always another chance. Until he finds someone himself, you've got as many chance as you can take. Like, tonight?'

Cullen sighed. 'Tonight...' He glanced up at her. 'Yeah, maybe...'

'I'm not gonna let you give up yet, mister.' Aurelia smiled, bumping him playfully. Cullen smiled to her, thankful for her words at least.
