The soul of this dragon has an unclear origin. One legend says that in another time and life as a human, he was the one responsible for an inter-dimensional apocalypse. In another legend, he was stuck in a never ending cycle of events trying to fix said apocalypse. Still another said he was an innocent child shot by his older multiverse counterpart. An obscure legend tells of a gruesome blood sacrifice he had to make in order to set things right and end the chaos once and for all. Regardless of where he came from or what he did in his past life, he has somehow reincarnated into a dragon that can finally do the right thing -- whatever that may be.

Just like in his human life before, he still retains his fondness for pathology and studying the undead, which has led him to the dubious study of Emperology -- the study of Emperor Dragons and how they form from the corpses of fellow Imperials. His hope is to find the root cause of this phenomenon so that it can be stopped. He suspects that Imperial blood -- his blood in particular -- maybe the key to unlocking the truth...
