Biography
Lyrium is the youngest member of the crew, and often tries to use that fact to his advantage to get what he wants. It doesn't work. He continues to do it anyway.
Whenever someone not from the Red Tide is around, he talks in a thick "pirate" accent, even though literally none of the others talk that way. Sometimes he also does it randomly (or if he's trying to get on someone's nerves).
Being fairly young, Lyrium frequently switches between boundless energy and absolute exhaustion, and most of the crew know how to tucker him out and get him to take a nap if he's being particularly troublesome. He almost always sleeps curled around one of the bigger dragons in the crew, usually Pale or Cove, but if Despair isn't too busy, he'll cling to her as well. That's not to say he doesn't wrap himself around the other crew members as well, they just can't do much when he does, so that's usually reserved for when they're getting rest as well.
When Lyrium was really young, barely older than a hatchling, he snuck aboard the Red Tide as a stowaway. It took over a week for the crew (which was a little smaller than it is now) to find and catch him, and by the time they did, they had no idea where he'd come from. He refused to say, and eventually admitted he had nowhere to go anyway.
Despair allowed Lyrium to stay on the ship, provided he help out with some of the (easier) chores in exchange, which he took to like fire, ecstatic to be able to help. He quickly became part of the family, comfortably filling the role of annoying little brother (whom is dearly loved), or sometimes known as "the small boy we keep on the ship."

Notes:
- His tongue is blue (like a blue-tongued skink)
- Silly little guy; does not take anything seriously and thinks he's hilarious
- Either extremely hyper and energetic, or sleeping. There is no in between.
- Youngest sibling vibes (he is a kid so this checks out. Everyone in the crew is either an older sibling or a parental figure to him)
- Loves feeling helpful, and is very proud of himself whenever he successfully completes a task
- Seems to have little to no sense of self-preservation (in part because he knows everyone on the crew will always bail him out of any situation)
- He was finally allowed to have a sword, and he is ecstatic about it. He's only supposed to use it for self-defence, but sometimes Azeth is a bad influence and teaches him some mildly dangerous party tricks
