Samael

An angel of destruction.

One of the many Undying created by the feared necromancer Memento Mori. Ghostly, yet skeletal beings robed in tattered finery, soaring on feathered wings. Deathless, they terrorize the nights of countless, haunting specters who plague the nightmares of all who see them. Emissaries of an individual who could rightfully be called death.

Beings who thrive on the deaths of others, whose bodies are engineered to the pinnacle of eradication. Their touch is deeply poisonous, and their very presence saps life from living flesh. They are unliving weapons who feel no fear or pain, having forsaken their souls in the name of revenge.

Samael is among those vile angels of destruction. They rob the senses and perceptions of those around them, rendering them incapable of seeing or feeling life of any kind. Touch becomes dulled, the eyes can only perceive what is not alive, and hearing fades as well.

Degraded beyond salvation, their victims perish as victims to their own madness. Lost within their own torment, a swift and painless death is preferable to suffering under Samael’s curse, a wretched retribution upon the world for the suffering inflicted onto him.
