Mitte has been painting for as long as she can remember. From the moment she was able to pick up a paint brush, she has practised her skill and refined her craft, but she always felt like something was missing, so she left the Sunbeam Ruins and set off to find what was missing.


She travelled for days, painting whatever wonderful sights she could see. From the suffocating plumes of smoke of the Ashfall Waste, to the vibrant blue of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. If Mitte was inspired, she painted, but she was never able to figure out what exactly she was missing.

Mitte felt herself growing discouraged. She had been to all these amazing places and dragons from all across Sornieth had paid large amounts for her paintings, but she still felt empty inside. She wondered if, perhaps she just wasn't cut out to be an artist. That is, until she met him.

Mitte had stopped off in a small inn in the Southern Ice Fields whilst on her way to visit an acquaintance. The other dragons in the Black Frost Inn were a bit quirky, but they all seemed friendly enough. Except for the mysterious imperial, Percival. No matter what Mitte did to be friendly, he always seemed to ignore her! She thought he was very rude.

When she vented her frustrations to the chef, Ellana, the fae only laughed at her! She explained that it may seem like Percival was ignoring only her, but he was actually in a daydream so often that he accidentally ignored everyone. He meant no harm by it, but he was often lost in thought about the stars and constellations that the world seemed to fade away around him.

Mitte was curious about what Ellana could possibly mean. She often got lost in thought whilst focusing on her paintings, but never so lost that she couldn't be reached. She decided to track Percival down and demand he show her what distracted him so much! At first he was surprised, but very excited to share his passions with another dragon. He showed Mitte his favourite constellations and the passion he had for his hobby inspired Mitte. This is what she had been missing! She needed a muse, and the stars seemed like a perfect muse! She had so many new ideas! She asked where was the best place to see the stars and Percival explained that she was already in the best place she could be! The two of them spoke of the stars and the night sky for hours, and Mitte knew that her next piece of art would be the absolute star of all of her designs.
