Biography
Sub-species: Turtle Dragons/ Chelonian Dragons
Guardians or Snappers
Giraffe/Shimmer/Capsule
or Giraffe/Shimmer/Runes
Primary: Spearmint-Radioactive
Secondary: Spruce-Radioactive
Tertiary: Spruce-Radioactive
Turtle dragons are commonly separated into marine and land-dwelling by breed, and may in some cases be called "sea-turtle dragons" or "tortoise dragons" depending on the regional difference in language. However, this sub-species of dragon includes both marine and land-dwelling guardians and snappers who have independently evolved the common features of Sornieth's turtle species.
What separates Turtle dragons from other Guardians and Snappers besides their genes and coloration is their unique behaviors. Turtle dragons are commonly nomadic, choosing to live independent of a group. They will visit the same areas year after year to find a mate and lay their nests, sometimes staying with the same mate for life. Turtle dragons are more attracted to other turtle dragons, but may occasionally find mates outside of the subspecies. However, when this occurs their hatchlings may not always be turtle dragons.
