 		Unnatural Leg Bones Chimera Pelt Cheerful Chime
“STEP RIGHT UP!” she booms across the plain, “COME ONE, COME ALL! TO THE GREATEST CARNIVAL!”

She snakes across the sky, laughing with delight as crowds gather below at her grand fairground. Her eyes glint as she catches sight of her favored guests: Imperials. Landing with hoot and holler, she leads in the bustle under the shade of her wings. All must go. All must see!

And then the trapeze, the Flying Quetzals, the Roaring Lionsnakes, the musical Serthis Song — they are enraptured, frozen in a state of awe, and she soaks it up like sunshine. She parades forth at the end of the celebration, beckoning their attention - come see me, come here, come listen and know - there’s more to be found after the show.

And they come one by one - vanishing in the night in eerie silence — witnessed only by the gleaming moon above.

An Emperor rises and ravages the land where the Grand Carnivale had just been. A close escape, to be sure.

No one seems to notice that it’s more than coincidence.
