The founder and head of the clan's Guard, and a part of the close knit group Riptide formed on the journey to founding the clan.
Cerise is an intimidating figure, stoic and serious, and won't take any nonsense from anyone. He's also fiercely protective of his family, both blood and found. 
Cerise and his siblings first met Riptide when the guardian set up camp temporarily on the cusp of Dragonhome, not long after Tsunami joined them on their journey. The three gaolers had been on their own together for as long as they could remember, and hadn't cared to meet any other dragons until then. They managed to run into each other by chance, and though hesitant at first, similarly to how they charmed Tsunami, Riptide manages to charm the other dragons with stories of their adventures. Cerise was still hesitant, but his siblings were absolutely enamoured. They had only known their stone home, and with their powers combined, Crimson and Shale were able to convince their brother to let them all leave the only home they knew to join Riptide and Tsunami on their ventures. |

The group would grow a little more as they met other travellers who would join them, until they had made their own little ragtag clan. Throughout their travels, everyone grew closer until they were not only a clan, but a family. The only time Cerise allows himself to get all sappy is when he's reminiscing over these times, usually resulting in him showing his appreciation for his found family. And eventually the group would settle down on a beautiful beach bordering the ocean of a thousand currents, building a town they could all call home. But they soon realized something lurked nearby, after one day a young gaoler, Rowan, discovered a creature unlike any they had seen. Though Aemias, the creatures name, was benevolent, they warned them of more malicious beasts. To protect the clan, alongside any other nearby creatures, from these potential threats, Cerise formed the Guard; a group of dragons who could protect and defend. |
