xerxes came to the clan of sweet moons as a wanderer clad in silk and beads, with nothing but his honeyed words and the glow of lanterns hovering lazily at his sides. soft-spoken and gentle, he offered vivid stories and meticulous card skills to impress the clan's hatchlings.

born blind, xerxes relies upon the earth beneath his feet to determine the position and breed of the dragons speaking to him. if someone is flying, he relies upon his inborn element to read the vibration in the moisture clinging to the air.

his stories often attract a crowd, for their outlandish qualities spark joy. colors are merely words, and ranges of tiny to humongous are chosen at random.

he quickly grew close with skylark, the clan's heiress, and they have been bonded since.
