Yusuke leads a double life both as an artist and as a member of the Phantom Thieves. Every since a young age, Yusuke has been captivated by the arts and is always seeking inspiration for his painting. His dogged pursuit of inspiration and general behavior has caused others to call him eccentric. Yusuke almost always remains level-headed in everyday life, but he can be quite stubborn as well. His upbringing caused him to be somewhat unfamiliar with societal norms, leading him to insulting others for not having his sense of aesthetics, or acting in ways that he does not realize make him suspicious to other people.
