Biography
He always listened intently to the bees that hummed around him. Metallic hide and blooming fauna stuck to shimmering amber wings attracted them. They provided him with comfort and security - a certain peace that he cherished. A saccharine scent with a personality to match, thick honey and optimism held his broken pieces together. Any dragon who knew him would call him loyal; some would mention that he’s loyal to a fault. Most find his naivety charming. Others do not. He is often the victim of betrayal, his amicable attitude and yearning for friendship overshadowing any sense of doubt or suspicion. His purity is unrivaled, but this has proven to be his downfall more than once.
He has friends, of course, but none of them cared for him quite as well as his bright and fuzzy companions. They often tended to any overflowing fractures, helping Honeypot keep tidy as he used his own honey to keep himself whole. Though many experiences and creatures had left him with these scars, he always considered each one a memory to recall upon and grow from. Even the darkest depths of his life had some sort of light in them, at least in his own opinion.
A few members of his colony always follow him around, but there are a few other constants for this bubbly critter as well. He absolutely adores flowers, and anything in shades of yellow were welcomed to his hoard without hesitation. He frequently crafts flower crowns, leis and other apparel for himself and others. Daisies are his favorite, and if he feels that there aren’t enough adorning him, he happily sticks them to his wings and scars. He is adept at sewing; all sorts of bows and fabric cover his den. When he’s feeling particularly cheerful (which is most of the time) he dons his beloved buttercup bows. If he’s not feeling particularly cheerful, a mere mention of these bows will have him beaming with joy.
All in all, Honeypot is a simple dragon. Happiness and hope fill him, and these emotions are so intense that sometimes they spread to others around him.
