Biography

Unnamed

Her job wasn't the easiest. The whole clan always asked her things about the future and past. Hell, she couldn't even always see who was standing in front of her! One moment she sees the vague outline of a guardian, the other moment they're gone. She looks down, and it's a hatchling guardian. Then they're gone again, and nobody's there! She can see the whole room without moving her head. Sometimes there's dragons, sometimes there's not. Sometimes she sees dragons, but they're not there. It's a difficult thing to get under control, but she had found a solution. She asked one of the constructors, Pecan, if he could dig out a secret room. And he did. It was her relaxing room now. She made sure nobody knew of the room, and if things became too much for her, she would retreat into that room and close off the entrance to have some quality alone time.

Her sleeping den was also where dragons would come to ask her about events. Especially guards. They would come in at the start of the day and ask where the best place to guard would be. She would have to focus and make all her eyes look into the future. An event on the same day was easy, but if they ever asked to know about the far future, it could be painful. This was why she never hung around hatchlings. They're just too curious, want to know too much. Luckily though, the clan rarely had hatchlings around.

She got used to her eyes separately shifting through different times. While one looks into the future, another may look into the past. Then another one sees the place as it was at that exact time. But they didn't all switch at the same time. No, it was completely random. They usually change after a few seconds. Sometimes it takes as long as a few minutes. It was certainly annoying to have to get used to. She had a lot of headaches in the past, and still gets them on busy days. Another thing that her eyes could do surprised her. They could see the past, present, and future of a specific dragon. She could be talking to an adult dragon, and suddenly it'd be a hatchling, or an elder. She talked to someone who's image had suddenly shifted into their near-death form. Bloody and broken, but standing there and talking to her.

She knew the future of the clan, and every dragon within it. She knew which new dragons would arrive in the future, and which dragons had left already. She made one rule for herself. She would not, under any circumstances, tell a dragon their death or, if any, a terrible event that would happen to them. For the clan, she of course would warn them if something were to happen. But not if they would lose or win. It could either discourage them or make them careless. Rules were necessary for her ability. The clan could disagree, but she could not be forced to tell something she didn't want to tell. Her ability, her rules.
