Redael | The Fallen Angel | The Forgotten
Where he Was
"I don't remember... Anything..."
|
Awaken. It was a quiet night that Redael found himself first awakened. He heard a voice, but had no idea from where it came. Was it in his head? He shook it, getting up. Everything hurt to move, but with a bold determination, he forced his body into an upright position. He could focus on only two things. His name, and his most recent memory. You fell. Well, he knew that. He had fallen somehow. From where, he barely knew. Something called the Celestial Plane? That was what his mind immediately conjured. He hadn't the faintest clue as to why he fell, or even how, but suddenly, he had bigger problems to worry about. He heard a quickened sound, like footsteps, headed his way. "Hey, are you okay?" It was a voice. A female voice. Someone knew he was here. Every instinct he had told him to flee when he saw her, but for some reason, he didn't. "We thought you were a comet." The voice admitted. Redael shook his head. That was all he could do. "You don't look too good. Why don't you spend the night? Our medic will take care of you." |

Where he Is

"Hey, Red!" It was Siarla, the dragon who had found Redael. It was three months after he had been found. She was always calling him Red now, even if he disproved. Still, he turned to face her, not knowing entirely what to expect. Would it be a cake to the face, or a pleasant surprise? It was always hard to tell with her. "I found some information." Siarla was always searching for information, for spells to return his memories, and maybe even get him back home. Redael didn't stop her, but he had given up most hope at this point. No spell was working. Nothing could be done to help him restore his memories. Still, he entertained her delusions. "Oh, yeah? What have you got?" She showed him a book. It was written in a language he knew to be that of the angels, though he couldn't quite place a name to it. It looked old and battered, but Redael knew better than to dismiss it based on that alone. "I think this might finally get you home." |

Where From Here
"Hope is a finite resource, used only by the foolish. Such as myself."

"Quiet, child This is all meant to be. What happens, happens. There is no changing that. Your future is set, as it was millennia before you were even a possibility. You are a mere cog in a machine greater than yourself. Do not forget this. It is the single most important piece of information that I have given to you. You cannot begin to even fathom them, But you must know you are meant for great things. You will stop an evil greater than yourself, than all of your kind. You are meant to be a hero. All hero's must sacrifice. Yours has been greater than you can even imagine, but it will all be worth it in the end. I promise you. Rest, now, sweet child, For tomorrow is a new day. You will see new victories then, new life, and new love. Do not fail me, my wonderful child. Your destiny is at stake here. Your loving mother eagerly awaits your triumphant return to the Celestial Plane." |
