Hymm

There was no dragon on Sornieth whom Renzati felt any positive emotion for, but one. A young Nocturne known only as "Him" or Hymm. He was chosen by young Renzati to be her new king, once she'd grown weary of the foolish Prince Rangt. The Skydancer observed the value of orphan dragons — those born from unparented eggs — and of the power and status they often held in dragon society.

He was the perfect choice. A clean lineage, those lovely colors that matched her own, and something of an eye for beauty himself.

Of course, the opinions of the millions of dragons on Sornieth were meaningless to her now. Yet the dark-hearted Skydancer had developed something of an attachment to the young Nocturne, something she vowed to never let happen again. He was always so loyal to her, so accepting, so reverent. He could even get her darkened face to crack a smile. So she kept Hymm around, allowing him to roam freely throughout the lair and have whatever he pleased.
