A guardian born under the Shadowbringer, Naaza was granted every opportunity to hone her craft of deception and polish the silver of her tongue. She excelled in it, even earning a reputation among her clutch of nestmates as a being of trickery. This served her well for the majority of her younger years. Unfortunately, not all good things are meant to last- soon her nestmates began their personal quests to find something worth guarding and Naaza was left to her own devices. This manifested itself in malcontent and malice towards her fellow Shadow Flight until she, too, eventually left the Tangled Woods in search of her purpose.

Her wanderings took her to the home of the Plaguebringer, deep into the Scarred Wasteland. Here, Naaza took to entertaining wandering Dragons in exchange for treasure, demonstrating her illusionary skills and her mastery of busking card games. It wasn't hard for her to make a living off of the backs of the rotting masses scattered around the terrible scar but, like any Guardian coming of age, she yearned for something to protect; something she could devote all of her capricious energy towards. It was then she met Kryssalis, a dragon overcome with her duties to her Plague Mother. Kryss taught the young Guardian what it meant to live for one's Flight, taking her under her wing and showing her the wondrous festering that her Goddess had bestowed upon her.

It was here, in the Scarred Wasteland, that Naaza stayed for nearly a century. The toxins in the ground and the influence of her surroundings twisted the young Guardian into a monster, marring her once smooth hide with unusual Eyes and deep-seeded Runes. Kryss was proud of the Guardian she'd employed to help spread decay and disease, though something was amiss-

Naaza wasn't quite as satiated in her duties as the pale Coatl had hoped she would be. There was wanderlust in her veins instead of bile. Often, the Coatl would find Naaza on the edge of the Plaguebringer's lands. Every time she did, she reminded the young Guardian what the Plague Mother had done for them both in hopes this would stop her from leaving. She reminded Naaza of the dangers of curious knowledge and cautioned her against the unknown.

One such adventure to the edge of the Wastes, bordering the Sea of a Thousand Currents, lead to the discovery of an Arcane Sprite near the freshy rotting remains of its former leige. Though joyous that a dragon got to feel the ravaging embrace of the Plague Mother, Naaza found interest in the small creature so adamant in staying by the deceased's side. It seemed to take notice of her, as well- leaving the unliving mound of scales and meat to join the Guardian just inside the markers of decaying ground. Naaza asked this sprite what things it had seen, what things it had experienced beyond the edges of the Wastelands. It told her little, instead requesting that the Guardian bring her back to the Starfall Isles. Despite her mentors words she agreed to the task, guiding the sprite in secret through the Plaguebringer's Territories and out into the dreamer's homeland.

What she learned there, in the Starfall Isles, enlightened her. Dissipated from her runes were the deep reds of malady, replaced with the vibrant pinks and magentas of the Arcanist's curiosity. With Sprite in toe, Naaza started on her quest to enlightenment- finding other Dragons like herself along the way.

Thus, Midnight and Moonsong was born.

Naaza, along with Unanimous and Ulyette, guide the dragons of the Moonsong Clan on their quests of self discovery and betterment.

|Leadership Style|

Naaza is a secretive leader. Those aligned under her will rarely receive a full answer when asking questions, which can lead to some confusion when attempting to carry out her orders. They will also rarely receive a reason behind requests from the Imperatrix, instead ordered to blindly follow her directions regardless of how unusual the task. Upon completion, Naaza takes care to deliver praise regardless of how successful the task had seemed. Often Dragons find themselves carrying out orders that don't seem to affect anything, but are given no answer to their questions.

Following her orders can leave one feeling guilty or remorseful for reasons unknown.
Not following her orders can leave one feeling even moreso.
