Everyone has a story about Casanova. A handsome, smooth-talking Veilspun who arrived from the Tsunami Flats shortly after the return of the breed, Casanova made it known straight away that he wouldn't do any heavy work. Jade of the First Five had quite a time placing him, as every work assignment she gave him he quit. Even something as simple as carrying messages was beyond him. Eventually Jade stopped trying to assign him work, with the hope that an opportunity would come along that he would willingly place himself into. That opportunity came with Kaori, Iris, and their joint bathhouse venture. Two dragons were definitely not enough to run a bathhouse serving a community as large as the Rest, so they put out ads looking for help. Casanova signed up, and was surprisingly good at the job right from the get-go. Helping out with stocking soaps, washing towels, and giving the occasional massage was just the kind of light work he was looking for. When not working, Casanova often drifts around the Rest. He lounges in the gardens or sunbathes in the fields, and come night, he settles in at the Tattered Sail. A regular patron of the Rest's most popular tavern, Cas is familiar with all of the bartenders, though his favorite is Cordial. The enigmatic Skydancer poises something of a challenge to Cas, who dragons open up easily to. Whenever Cordial is working the bar, Cas is right there, chatting him up and nursing a glass of wine. |
