Your cheeks sting with the chilly breeze that rolls through your lair, bringing with it the fresh scent of winter. The end of December is almost here and you've spent the entire month eagerly awaiting news of your Secret Santa. You scan the skies for any signs of an approaching visitor, claws curling into the frozen ground with impatience.

It still might be too early to expect anything but you can't quite help yourself. The joy that fills your body - a bubbly warmth that almost tickles at it spreads, like your blood has been replaced with sparkling champagne - leaves you too restless to care.

Thankfully, you aren't left waiting for long. A figure appears in the distance, flying steadily in your direction. It's a Fae, you realize with a start, carrying a bag several sizes larger than himself. He calls out a greeting once he's only a few meters away and you hastily respond, stepping back to give him more room to land.

The small dragon hovers for a moment, fumbling awkwardly with his burden, before setting it down with a thud and perching himself upon the bulky object. He gives you a small smile and nod, handing over a thick parchment sheet addressed to you in beautifully inked script. You're beaming with pleasure, so eager to read the letter that you hardly notice as your visitor begins pulling several hand-wrapped presents from his bag.

The skydancer that appears outside of your lair lands with purpose, sure that she’s in the right spot without needing to double-check her map. It looks like all the flying around she’s done in preparation for this years Secret Santa has helped her with her penchant for getting lost! With a happy smile, she starts rifling through the bag she’s carrying over her shoulder until she’s found what she’s looking for.
