A lone soul, Blackreach is a curious dragon, who spends precious little time outside the lair. A digger, Blackreach is tasked with the manual work of the downwards expansion of the caves. He's not all that devoted to the task but spends more time searching for precious stones and beautiful gems. While most of these gems go to the Clan's hoard, he does keep some for himself. As the years have gone by, Blackreach has amassed quite the collection of wonderfully glittering things.

Like most dragons in the Silence Clan, Blackreach does not speak of his past. He used to be a very outgoing dragon, but after his mate died and the Clan moved to Water, he spends more and more time on his own. He never ventures outside the lair, and he only comes up from his cave-delving adventures to load off the things he has found. Most days he spends alone in the deep darkness, with only the glittering gems to keep him company.
