hatched before the eye vial update on may 3, 2021. no vial applied
MIRACLE
charge was given a nocturne egg as a christmas gift from his friends. he's never seen a nocturne egg before, and instantly became protective of it. he kept it warm, setting it under a light and checked up on it every few hours. being wheelchair bound, he couldn't incubate it like most dragons.
the egg shook from time to time, tiny squeaking noises coming out of it. charge was extremely eager for it to hatch, as he's never experienced it before.
with him having no parents, he has to take care of himself from time to time, but since he's also disabled, it makes things slightly harder for him.
then, on christmas day, the egg hatched, and out popped a small nocturne. the hatchlings eyes were closed, as it just hatched out of the egg.
charge was excited to see this event happen before his eyes -- they were lighting up even more than before!
then, the hatchling opened her eyes, and purple, oozing liquid dripped from them. charge didn't feel scared, concerned, or curious, he was happy. happy that he took care of a hatchling with the same eye type as him.
"she's been blessed by the shadowbinder!" he said out loud as he scooped the tiny dragon into his talons.
he knew it was a huge responsibility to take care of a hatchling, but he'll do it anyways.
"i'll be the best dad ever to you. i'll make sure no one hurts you, and teach you everything i know. you really are a christmas miracle!"
the hatchling grabbed his nose, squeaking of happiness. charge laughed, and gave her a gentle, warming hug.
