Big sister/Mother Figure: Honeycheeks (no blood relation)




Honeycheeks was the only nest caretaker before Kiri came along. The clan was growing at a rapid rate and couples were reserving nests all around, making Honeycheeks job a living hell. While she loves children, she hates eggs, theyre too...boring!

She gets used to the leaders bringing in strays or trading for new blood, so when Kiri showed up, Honeycheeks didnt look twice. It was Kiri who formed this unbreakable bond.

Brought into a new lair without any warning what-so-ever, Kiri was terrified, shes not as open as some of the others. While the other hatchlings and newcomers would walk around and introduce themselves, Kiri just sat by Honeycheeks day-in and day-out. Before long, she started to think of Honeycheeks as her mother. Claiming shes much too young for that, Honeycheeks settles for "Big sis"

Fast-forward to now, Kiri is a bright and cheery addition to Honeycheeks job. Refusing to leave her side, she goes to work with her every day, checks on eggs, watches after hatchlings, and even cleans up nests for new use. Due to all of the new and youthful life that comes and goes in the area, Kiri never grew past the size of a hatchling herself. She hasnt let her size get the best of her though, hatchlings are more open to someone they can relate to after all.

Kiri, being as quiet as she is unless around Honeycheeks, likes to sit in small flower patches or large meadows on occasion. Honeycheeks tends to get fairly busy with her job and while the little one likes to hang about her day in and day out, it can get kinda crowded and tiresome for even a small dragon such as herself. The flowers she sits in tend to calm her down and clear her mind, so when she goes back to Honeycheeks again shes collected and happy. Ready to help with anything Honeycheeks needs help with.

Her favorite flowers are light yellow ones that grow on tress though, and when the time and season are right, she will sit under a tree and watch as these flowers fall to the ground. Something she would prefer over snow to see. On days like these she likes to try and get Honeycheeks to come along and watch the small petals fall as well. Sometimes shes lucky enough and Honeycheeks will come.
