Idol was not born a sailor, though she certainly found a great love for it. As soon as she was old enough to leave her birth clan, she began a life of work on merchant vessels and passenger ships alike. She even had a brief stint of piracy, though it ended in their ship wrecking off the coast of the Shifting Expanse, where she was found by a clan of Mirrors known as The Tempest Order. They took her in, nursed her back to health, and she spent some time there as a traveler and mercenary.

Soon, though, she began to grow bored. The mirrors here were... fine, but a bit humorless for her taste. She longed to find a new clan, where she might begin writing a new chapter of her story.
