xxxxA knowing and weary smile; a smell like incense, of ozone, and an eternity of dust. Even among the company of other sorcerers, Artimisia is proud nearly to the peak of arrogance. Her arrival came as abrupt as an acid storm and no one save herself and the Witch King know what bargain was struck to keep her in his retinue. Hers is a power that even the least magically inclined of dragons can feel: like an unseen grasping at the back of the neck, slick and dangerous as black ice and far too immense for the shape she wears.

xxxxIt is known that she keeps a cavern at the periphery of their territory, preferring solitude over mingling with others of the clan. Just as rumors abound of the sorceress, so too have rumors sprung up about the sorceress' den: that it is not one cave but a series of them twisting and spiraling in impossible ways, bending and coiling back upon itself again and again. Some suspect there are beasts that keep watch over these caves, for those who draw too near hear something (even several somethings, according to some) rustling and rumbling beneath the earth. Others, too, speak of a throne that reaches the sky - but this, of course, is impossible and one does not need a sorceress to remind them as much.
