VOCATION AND PURSUIT
Medic | Shade Wound Recovery |
>> Trained to be a general medic, but specializes in Shade-wounds >> Currently tasked with following army troops in Dragonhome to provide outside medical help, because the Shade tends to concentrate in places with lots of violence or stress >> Provides care for anyone impacted by the Shade, regardless of Flight allegiance >> Trained under Fafsheno >> Knows sign >> Sometimes nonverbal in verbal conversations because she's so used to signing with Fafsheno >> Likes aether cherries >> Is trained to defend herself with her staff; can pack a punch with it too >> Would love to travel to other sanctums, but doesn't want to leave her friends, mentor, and family she's made at the First Sanctum >> Her familiar reserved jeweler, affectionately named Tranquil, or Quil, helps her with keeping patients calm, finding medication or tools, and strangely enough, crowd control |

"You smell like death," Fafsheno said, paws moving sharp and contained in a familiar way.
"Thanks," she returned in sign. "Glad to know I'm so loved."
Her teacher's terrifyingly flat face dissolved into a warm smile, the wrinkles around his eyes growing more pronounced. Vix returned the smile, falling into step with him as he motioned for her to follow with a flick of his tail.
"How were your travels?" he asked as they passed by the first couple of rooms.
"Good. I was provided a tent and sympathy rations from the 53rd Regiment. They seemed to like me a lot better this time around."
"You still provided care to everyone regardless?"
Vix blew out an annoyed breath through her nose, nodding. The border skirmishes between Dragonhome and the Viridian Labyrinth had been going on for years. And where violence bred, so did the Shade. She was not only accustomed to following in the wake of armies and encampments, but also treating dragons on each side for Shade-infested wounds—such was the way of the Ekessal.
"I saw Henomai again, actually," she added verbally. "She shared some dessert from the east of the Viridian Labriyth, and I gave her the rest of my aether cherry bars."
"Intersanctum-al relations," Fafsheno said, using a sign they'd created together for a phrase Vix had coined upon her first meeting with Henomai.
"Of the best kind."
