During the collision of two galaxies two beings were sparked into creation. As the galaxies merged and settled over an era, the two new beings settled and evolved into brilliant red beings that overtime began to resemble the galaxy that was forming around them. As time passed, these beings began to grow restless and decided together that it was time for them to move beyond the galaxy that they had called home.
For another era they traveled from one galaxy to another, taking in all the wonders and knowledge each had to offer while spending extra time to observe and interact with each and every other being they came across. With every galaxy they left behind, the pair found that they were overwhelmed with a deep longing that neither could explain and it only grew larger as time moved on. They could tell something was missing from their lives but even with a vast amount of information the pair had acquired they could not pinpoint just what this missing thing could be.
And then one glorious day everything came into focus and the feeling of completion washed over both of them for the first time. They had been spending time with beings that referred to themselves as dragons, and as they observed the way the majestic beings moved through the air they knew they had found their missing something. Once it was decided that their new home would be among these wondrous beings, they knew they would need to form themselves into new forms, and what better forms than those of the beings that had welcomed them to share their home.
Echo the female shaped herself after the dragons that called themselves Wildclaws, while Macabre the male decided that his form would be shaped after those called Coatls. It was decided between the two of them, that their wings would be marked in a beautiful memorial to the galaxy that was born along side of them, and that Echo would keep the majority of her body a solid black to remember the feeling of longing they had once felt, while Macabre would dot his body with markings that would remind them of all the galaxies they had visited in their journeys. Finally they shaped their fronts to showcase the glowing crushed stardust that swirled through their body and kept them alive.
