Subject exhibits a type of red growth similar to the gene crackle, origin is unknown. 08-231219-02 does not appear to be in pain, but he is being monitored for any abrupt changes in behavior, currently the subject is incredibly subdued which is rather strange for a young fae. Will update soon with further information.

Subject has been very rapidly growing aggressive, attempted to bite Dr. Eiry's hand numerous times and making multiple attempts to violently to escape from its containment. Since the subject exhibited abnormally docile behavior up until this point, Eiry thinks this growth is the cause. The two of us managed to collect a sample of the growth, will update once I have any relevant information. I'm sending it into Dr.Keltsin for her to analyze.

Dr.Keltsin finally got back to me about the growth, while I've been waiting on her the little fae has gotten more and more aggressive; We have to wait until it sleeps to slip food into its containment chamber for the sake of no more staff members loosing fingers to the thing, even Caiohme and Floret refuse to approach the thing. Keltsin says she thinks this growth is the same kind of thing we found inside of Lethe, except obviously it's on the outside this time. It's a kind of infection, she said, called Plague Bind, formerly our Lethe and a few other dragons were the only ones to suffer at its claws, but apparently it's infected another, that being 08-231219-02.

Keltsin theorizes that Lethe may have somehow gotten near 08-231219-02's egg during incubation at the facility, but Panorin claims it couldn't have happened, he would know about that level of breach. Director Faroe has demanded we figure out how this contagion spreads before anyone else gets infected. For now all scientists who have come into contact with 08-231219-02 or samples of its growth are to be quarantined, that being myself, Eiry, and Keltsin; we are to be isolated from all members of staff but will be allowed to come into contact with 08-231219-02 and Lethe in order to research this Plague Bind disease, since our survival might just depend on it.

Reason: Contamination and Spread Risk.

January 5th, 2020 - Dr.Lilith at 10:30AM
Subject has been given 1 (one) Bumble familiar to act as a companion due to mood swings which Eiry theorizes is due to loneliness. A bumble was chosen due to the fact that all current tests show that Plague Bind can only be contracted by reptilian entities, such as dragons. Serthis have shown to be immune despite their reptilian lower half.

February 1st, 2020 - Dr.Lilith at 12:19AM
Subject has calmed substantially since the introduction of it's Bumble companion. The subject, given the nickname Hemlock by Dr.Nivenor, spends most days taking care of its familiar and playing with it. Dr. Nivenor has suggested adding a Coral Carpenter so that the subject has more companionship. Also visitation allowances have begun to be allowed, primarily with Lethe as she is already afflicted with the same contagion as the subject.
Results of the possible exposure effects on myself, Dr.Nivenor, and Keltsin are still unknown. We are still being quarantined from the remainder of the staff and are to keep our distance from both Lethe and 08-231219-01 as much as possible.

February 3rd, 2020 - Dr. Nivenor at 2:20AM
Lillie, Eiry, and Keltsin have all been hospitalized. All three suddenly grew ill... Faroe, Casalain, pretty much all of us are panicked. Lillie seems to be doing best of them all, didn't expect any less from that hardy gal, but Eiry and Keltsin are both in a poor way.
Hemlock keeps muttering something about 'it's all my fault' and the poor thing is in hysterics and won't calm down enough for us to figure out what its about. Poor thing..

February 7th, 2020 - Director Faroe at 8:00AM
Keltsin has passed away from illness complications assumed to be related to subject 08-231219-01. Lilith's entire body has become contaminated and she has been moved to containment with Lethe. Eiry has made a full recovery, though he is remaining under quarantine until we can ensure there is no more of this contagion within his frame.
08-231219-01 has grown eeriely quiet since Keltsin passed. Both the Bumble and Coral Carpenter have been removed from its containment as requested.

Keltsin is.. back? How?
We're starting to think this contagion is something much more than we originally thought. My body feels awful and yet I'm still alive and breathing. So is Keltsin. Lethe calls it a 'blessing'. I don't know what she means, none of us do.
08-231219-01 has its bumble and coral carpenter back. It apparently kept asking about the status of myself, Dr. Eiry, and Keltsin near incessantly while Director Faroe had charge of it. It apparently started to cry in presumed happiness when Faroe explained that we were all, much to our surprise, doing rather well.
I wonder if it had something to do with our recovery.
