Jomon is the Clan's potter. He is usually caked in mud, clay, and sand. He is buddies with the whole of the exploration team but Huxley dislikes his sandy state of existing and the chaos in Jomon's workshop too much to really want to hang out with him. It saddens Jomon a great lot since they have a shared passion for history. Upon Jake's return to the Clan, he and Jomon got along immediately. Jomon is also glad to see the archeologist team isn't entirely unpleasant anymore under Jake's new lead. When Jake isn't travelling you will often find him chilling in Jomon's workshop where they either work on their own stuff in comfortable silence or talking. The two are probably both the most sincere dragons of the Clan so people still love to visit the potter's workshop. In the evenings he can often be found hanging in the tavern. He never says no to dancing. Another thing Jomon likes beside history is dead coral, he has collected a ton of it. Oftentimes he feels so inspired by coral skeleton shapes that you find jars and pots he crafts resembling them. It's a theme throughout all of his work. Jomon is likely the chubbiest Spiral you will ever meet and he sparkles on top of that, due to constantly being dusty. His appearance may seem shabby but Jomon is a very dedicated and diligent worker and it reflects in his personality. He is a very genuine dragon and a lot of the less social dragons come to visit him to talk to him because he is pleasant to be around and a good listener. His workshop is situated on the market island, to save the effort of transporting his goods. He has a cave in the lair but often just sleeps out on the island. His frog friend Jasper has his own nice damp clay hut in Jomon's workshop. Curled around roots when he is asleep he's been mistaken for a huge snake a lot.
