Biography
backstory .
There is something to be said about a person who has seen the worst that her kind has to offer, but still believes good people exist. That is not to single out Plague dragons, but rather, dragons as a whole. Because for all the flack and drama that the Scarred Wasteland gets, real dragons live there, and spend their whole lives there. They raise families, have funny adventures, and get into trouble like anywhere else in the world.
And Titania knows this as well as anyone, as she had a family! A family that she believes- hopes, is still out there. She cannot remember much, she can’t discern faces or remember names (she was very young) but she remembers the feeling. The overwhelming sense of love and community that surrounded her when she was around her clan, and when she’s sad she can summon that feeling and smother herself in it.
In the middle of the night, she was snatched from her nest.
She squirmed and wiggled, trying to claw her way out of the cage of bones that held her secure. She wasn’t small enough to squirm through the bars, and then she was dipped into the wyrmwound like she was a nugget to be deep fried. But it didn’t hurt! She distinctly remembers it not hurting. It was a weird, thick liquid, and it felt like there were multiple gelatinous bodies all around her… Like, giant amoebas, big germs…
When she was pulled out, she was changing before her captors very eyes. They were a corrupt Plague clan, intent on mutating other dragons and controlling them. She stayed with them for her adolescent and teenage years. Her positive attitude worked in her favour when she won over the other captive dragons, and together with their new augmentations they stormed out of the facility!
But Titania had nowhere to go for a while. She trekked through, lost, and alone! In the chaos of the breakout, all her facility friends had fled, and she had gotten separated from them. It was actually Magister who found the wandering dragon and took her back to Crown. It took the residents of Crown to grow… Accustomed to Titania.
As nature dragons- devout nature dragons -they initially didn’t trust her. But Titania made it clear how she was looking out for the betterment of all dragons, and wasn’t interested in offensive conflict. Nature and Plague can live together in harmony!
Even now, she can get some strange looks within the clan, especially from outsiders coming to visit. But Titania has her friends! Nothing will get this dragon down.
bones ? bones !
Did you know Plague magic is fantastic for manipulating the body? As a bone priest, Titania can heal broken bones fast!
Her spells are diverse, but a better healed broken bone will take days to complete. But if you’re on the battlefield and need a quick healing? Well… It’ll be fragile, but it’ll get the job done.
