B I O G R A P H Y

____Livikus is at once more Pearlcatcher and less Pearlcatcher than others of his race. He has an incredibly rigid code of conduct and honor that has led other Pearlcatchers on occasion to tell him to lighten up a little. He has typically refused to dignify the wordplay with a response. It is unknown in fact, if he has ever laughed at a joke. Raylah asserts that she once got a chuckle out of him when they were young; something he has flatly denied.

____Despite such an uptight manner, when one earns his trust and loyalty, it is nearly unshakable; regardless of their species. Though he will voice distaste, he will cooperate with the likes of Skaril when the need arises. This sort of behavior at once causes other Pearlcatchers to blink in confusion and regard him with a strange curiosity.

____The Overseer of the Alabaster Blade was the first of Pentarax's allies to re-awaken in a new body on Sornieth; the self-styled paladin was trusted him to be impartial and honest regarding the experience of having one's spirit incarnated within a new form, and Pentarax felt he needed a staunch defender should his efforts on the world of Sornieth come under any sort of threat.

____Unsurprisingly, Livikus was the most vocal opponent of the Stronghold's move to the Scarred Wasteland. He still does not pass up an opportunity to complain about the surrounding land when Pentarax happens to stop by.

A small elemental creature born out of the Lightweaver's glow, Quoris is a soldier that serves Livikus as a sort of bodyguard; specializing in the casting of shield spells. It is the only being Livikus trusts to handle his Pearl other than himself.}

_THE PILLAR_

____The first pillar is the Alabaster Blade.

____A fang that gleams unusually white amidst the tarnished and tainted landscape, the Alabaster Blade is a library containing thousands upon thousands of scrolls, tomes, and volumes. Livikus watches over the literary treasure with almost as much care and thought as he gives the pearl he clutches in his claws.

____Unfortunately for the somewhat easily angered dragon, many travelers and visitors have confused the Blade with the Azure Spike; which he reminds them (often while fuming) is an intelligence gathering center and essentially a storehouse of deceit and trickery, whereas his is a library; a place of knowledge and truth.

_LIBRARIANS_

____As with the other five Pillars, the Alabaster Blade is home to a variety of dragons, and among them, only Rhios and Ilaunith are light-aligned. The Snapper couple Bodugorok and Artaia reside within the library when not traveling, and the arcane dragons Xhazii and Ardirath also live within the bright walls of the Blade.

____Curiously, while the Imperial known as Rhios also resides there, he is arguably the dragon that Livikus detests the most in the entire Stronghold. He sees the sigil-bearer and lorekeeper as an insufferable complainer who seems more concerned with whether or not his armor is polished than the preservation of the various relics he is charged with watching over.
