Story:
A Centaurian warrior hailing originally from the planet Aeos, he lost both his parents when he was sixteen, while their race was struggling to establish their underground city. Two of his cousins invited him to move to the city of Atlantis and live with them and, having no one left and no little desire to continue on Aeos, he accepted. Surgio and his cousins were all rave light spinners by night, and it was during one of their routine nights that they found out that a dangerous cult had taken up activity within the shadows of their city. Wanting to take action, Surgio and his cousins- all trained fighters- decided to become vigilantes. This happened as they came of age and recieved their traditional warrior's tattoos, so each of them got their markings in different neon colors- Surgio's being aqua / light blue - and started calling themselves the Neon Rangers. In the end, they were able to stop the madness, but at the cost of his cousins' lives. Years later, Surgio found his way to the F-Zero track and debuted as the Neon Ranger, and he races in memory of his cousins. While he still operates as a vigilante, he has became much more of a brawler and has a deadly track rivalry with Pico.
