Hilde was born into a family of hunters so she grew up learning how to shoot a bow before she could even walk. Her sharp sight allows her to hit even the most distant targets and her ability to judge range and conditions are unparalleled. Her talents drew the attention of the rangers in her family while she was young and soon she was set upon the path of a noble archer for the glory of the new queen, Aurorthea, who had taken the throne just a few years before. While she was mostly raised amongst other males, Hilde never let them outshine her in training. Soon enough she was the top of her squad and was sent on missions despite her youth. On one such outing to the border her group was attacked by rogues and all were killed. She would have died as well had a pair of young warriors not intervened and saved her. They introduced themselves as Artorius and Theofric. She didn't take to Artorius' cocky attitude, but she found something about the shyer and quieter Theofric to be charming. Over time their friendship turned to love and she was faced with the decision of leaving the rangers behind in order to build a family. Though she yearned for adventure in the wilds, her heart took her to the capital to start her new family, something she never regrets to this day. She spends her time training new recruits in the palace while also raising her children. |
