Rarely seen with the clan, Thoth spends most of his time hunting the borders of his former home, the Tangled Woods, or training with his mentor, Tiernan. Thoth has come a long way since his exile from his former clan, finally gaining some control over his "reflective empathy," and even picked up new tricks. His main hunting tactic also explains why he chooses the Tangled Woods as his hunting grounds as he utilizes his psychic powers to confuse and distress weary travelers through the woods, leading them to their doom in the Wastelands, or simply driving them mad until they seek release by their own device...

 Most Skydancers are born with the keen ability to be empathetic and charismatic, but Thoth was not blessed with this ability - he was cursed with it. Since his birth, his clan found his presence intolerable because Thoth didn't just read magical energies, he had an uncontrollable ability to amplify it. As long as his clan mates around him were calm, everything was in order, but as soon as a small argument broke out, it escalated quickly due to Thoth's ability. Numerous times, Thoth was chased out of his clan in order to bring peace back into the lair, but eventually his clan agreed to exile him. Thoth one day woke to his entire lair empty, save for a few essentials and treasure left for his travel - his clan had moved on without him, a silent message to cut ties with him.
