Azurite is devoted to her mother, and yet a fundamental dissatisfaction haunts her. An itch for purpose, for conflict, that went right down to her bones. So as a young dragoness she took only a a small pack and left the clan to search out a place for herself, to learn a fighter's ways with the promise that she would bring them home. A mercenary she became, throwing herself gleefully into fight after fight. In the wilds she fell in with a band of banescales, and when the magic of transformation was offered to her she took it without hesitation. She views her new form as beautiful, and a truer version of herself. 

Eventually time saw her return home, to the mother she idolized. She is now a skilled warrior, and she's found a purpose in honoring the history of war of the banescales.
