Ribos

Bio: Ribos' story was a sad one. His father was favoured by Ruby, but when Orion had a clutch with Lani instead of her, Ruby made it her mission to snub all of the hatchlings. Ribos tried his best to tolerate it, learning alchemy from Lilvia and enjoying his work. But one day, while working on a particularly volatile brew in his den, Ruby walked by and made an especially scathing comment that made Ribos flinch. Unfortunately, he had a beaker in his hand at the time, and the flinch messed up the concoction, the whole thing exploding in his face and making Ruby flee, screaming at the top of her lungs.

When his mother and father, along with Clanmother Fiera and Lilvia, found him, it was too late. His scales had turned to wood, parts of which had broken off, leaving his body hollowed out. Lilvia examined him and his notes, but decided that even if she could do something, it would probably kill him to turn him back, with so much of him missing. Assuming what was left of the dragon hadn't died already. There was nothing that could be done.

Orion and Lani never forgave Ruby for taking one of their sons away. Ribos' form remains in his cave, which has been turned into a memorial to him, along with a place to leave small tokens in memory for others who had also left the clan under sad circumstances. Lani makes sure to tend to it every day.
