Curium and her mate Radon met while they were members of a clan with an ancient, strict patriach, and their lives in the Icefields was less than what Curium dreamed of. She looked to the stars and felt strongly that change would come. And it did, when Curium met the 'nymph' Red, the Glademother's Gardener. They met under particularly strange circumstances -- the patriarch's firebrand son had run into the creature while out hunting, and pressed Red into returning to the clan to meet the others. Curium found Red to be a warm and welcoming spirit, and they and Curium quickly kicked up a strong friendship. Red had a family to go back to, and urged Curium and her mate to accompany of them. The two Bogsneaks happily left their old clan to join the Gaoler-kin and the Gardener in the Viridian Labryinth.

Curium felt the stars had always meant her to find a home with the Gladekeeper's kind. Curium and Radon would go on to raise their nests in Hearth-home Clan. Several of their babies would stay with the clan as they grew, and their bloodline has become a mainstay of the group. Niobium, Fluorine and Capri are all their children, and they have grandchildren within the clan, Nissa and Charlie.
