Biography

Shadowfrost
This is the story of the founder of the Zodiac clan and their leader.
PART 1
“Hurry up!’ Sphinx called as he shoved the remaining treasure into his bag. The treasure had practically glowed before, but now it was losing its shine. Which made sense, as we were looting it from the Observatory, and it had never been touched before. How did we get into the Observatory, you ask? Well, here’s your answer: mind your own business.
“COME ON!” Sphinx yelled again. “OR I’LL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU!”
“Geez, I’m coming,” I called back to him. “You don’t have to get huffy about it,”
“Well, move faster then,” he said, annoyed.
We were looting the treasure of the Observatory for a very good reason. We were looting it because we’re COMMON THIEVES, that’s why. This much treasure could make us very, very rich for a very, very long time.
“SHADOWFROST!” This worried me, as I could detect a note of pure fear in his voice. “THEY FOUND US!”
The Occheni, the dragon police. Except if the police executed pickpockets for stealing bread crumbs. They’d had their eyes on us for months now - we’ve barely escaped them multiple times now.
Suddenly, one came at me around the corner. I fended it off with a bolt of ice. Oh, and by the way, the Occheni were made of solid clawproof glass. They were virtually indestructible- virtually. If you hit them in just the right spot on their chest, they shattered like black ice beneath a banescale.
The one in front of me shattered, but not before it released a cry that probably drew all the Occheni within ten miles of here. I ran to Sphinx - but he wasn’t there. I looked out of the lone window and saw an Occheni pair dragging him away.

PART 2
I raced toward the window, but I was too late. They were already gone. I never saw my brother again.
HA! Tricked ya! My bro lives on a small family farm with his mate and their daughter.
Anyways, I was heartbroken, and I turned to leave the tower ,but I was blocked by a small pink sprite with a book in its hand.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE YOU TRESPASSING SCUM! INTRUDING IN THE ARCANIST’S PERSONAL SPACE! HOW INCREDIBLY RUDE!”
Wow. just wow. How did such a tiny creature make such a loud noise? I still don’t know.
“Well, what do we have here?” That voice definitely did not belong to a tiny creature. I crossed my fingers anyways.
And then the Arcanist entered the room.

PART 3
I fainted. There. I admit it. I fainted. The arcanist was so majestic. And so angry.
The Arcanist was about to blow me off the face of the earth- until a call from outside stopped the beautiful dragon.
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY SUBJECT?!?” came the booming voice of the Icewarden.
My mind, logic, and emotions were all shattered in a forgotten corner by now.
The Icewarden was also majestic, in a sharp, cold kinda way. He was just so huge - and cold. Did I mention that he was cold?
I could feel the drafty wind of his voice on my face as he rebuked the Arcanist, who stormed out of the room in a rage.
“Well, will you explain why exactly you are here?”
I told the Icewarden about looting the Observatory with my brother, the Occheni, all of it. He thought for a moment about my story, and then said the words that changed my life.
Will you start a clan for me?

Shadowfrost’s Scar
A sad yet kind of funny story (as her stories always are)
“SHADOWFROST!” came the first yell. It’s the first yell that always gets to you. It gets underneath your skin, down to your bones, and worms its way into your memories. This is not good in a battle.
But it is always there.
“SHADOWFROST! GET OVER HERE!”
“GEEZ, I’M COMING!” I yelled back. I went over to Auda and his slightly annoying shouted orders. Honestly, I didn’t know what Ashlynn saw in him. He was a controlling freak in battle. And everywhere else. Ashlynn was the only one who could order him around without getting their head chewed off. Which I had. Many times.
“What do we do? We’re surrounded on all sides! They have us cornered!” Auda was slightly hysterical.
I shouted a bunch of military stuff at him, and he went off to do as he was told. I was very worried at this point. Auda never went to do as he was told.
I turned to go to my side of the battle, but I was blocked by a giant imperial dragon at least ten times my size. “Well, what do we have here? A gnat on a giant’s battlefield. And a very stupid gnat at that.” he sneered at me.
I attacked him with my most powerful magic. The biggest ones fall the hardest, I always say.
And, unfortunately, he did. Coming towards me.
I banked hard to the right. I barely made it out. Well, most of me made it out. His claw caught the delicate skin of my face, and scratched right over my eye. His arm came crashing down on me. Luckily his arm was pretty skinny, and I shrugged it off pretty easily. The pain was almost unbearable, but I made it through. I still need wing support so I can fly straight. The healers bandaged me up, and I still wear those bandages as a conversation starter.
Okay, and a little bit proudly.
