Kitchyr

There’s a commotion by the cave entrance and, fearing a hostile intruder, you hurry over to find a lone mirror dragon, his four eyes blinking in the bright sunlight. He carries with him various obscure satchels and bundles, many of which he obviously dropped in surprise upon emerging from the cave.

“Holy moly...” and that appears to be all he is capable of saying for the next few minutes as he gazes at the beauty of the bamboo grove.

Eventually you are able to pry his story out of him. His name is Kitchyr and he is the newest and youngest member of a smuggling ring. As low man on the totem pole, he was tasked with finding and hauling their loot to a safe hiding spot and then babysitting it while the rest of the gang visited the nearest pub to celebrate their haul. Needless to say, he’s feeling a bit resentful right now and not at all loyal to his coworkers.

“Hey, if you’ll let me stay here, well, I mean there’s this huge stash back in the cave...the gang doesn’t even know it’s location, so they’ll never know where it’s gone...whaddya say? I can show it to you. I have some of the stuff right here.” He rummages through his bundles, revealing precious-looking scrolls and stones.

True to his word, there’s a Prince’s ransom waiting in the cave.
