Compassionate, Brave, Stalwart
Stubborn, Cold, Uncompromising

Glade was born and raised within a very insular and proud clan of Nature dragons, whom hailed from deep within the Viridian Labyrinth. They lived to serve the Gladekeeper, and took great pride in doing so... to an almost obsessive degree. The clan showed disdain and contempt for those outside of the Gladekeeper’s ranks and the Viridian Labyrinth, showing little compassion- and in most cases, mercy- towards travellers or wanderers that happened upon the clan’s territory.

Thanks to this, Glade found herself thrust into a life of violence and hatred in the name of her God at a young age. Glade was always a natural when it came to combat, and she definitely enjoyed a good fight, but as she grew older she realised the fights her clan were picking weren’t the type she wanted to be involved in. So, once she came of age, she broke off from the only family she’d ever known in search of a new, and hopefully more peaceful, destiny- desperate to answer the ache in her bones for something new and fulfilling.

This search led her to meet her lifelong mate and best friend Amber, a thief who’d later become her bodyguard of sorts, and then her mate. The two, despite being so different became inseparable, and eventually went on to form Clan Ildaite together. The two found themselves in the friendly and peaceful Zephyr Steppes, where Glade planted an acorn she’d kept from her homeland which grew into the mighty oak that the Clan now call home.

Instead of getting into senseless fights like she once did, she now acts as the clan’s defender and head hunter- as well as a surrogate mother to any hatchlings the clan takes in. Sometimes, she misses her old family, but she wouldn’t give her new one up for the world.
