"Battle is the most magnificent competition in which a dragon being can indulge. It brings out all that is best; it removes all that is base. All dragons are afraid in battle. The coward is the one who lets his fear overcome his sense of duty. Duty is the essence of manhood.."


Plague-born, violent, and easy-to-anger, this warrior dragon loves to fight. Cytagal is not friends with many, and he believes that he is the Alpha male of the clan, and also believes that it is fate for him to inherit the clan rather than the one now. He complains about it often, yet nobody listens. If Cytagal could, he would overthrow the clan's matriarch.

Once, he challenged Anauel in a fight for dominance over the clan. It was an intense and violent battle. It looked very grim for Anauel since she had fallen to the ground and showed no signs of getting up, but when Cytagal was about to declare victory, Anauel swiftly grabbed him by his head and slammed him to the ground with her death-gripped jaw.

Multiple times.

And with that, Cytagal was defeated by the matriarch Anauel. He was left with several cracks in his skull, and many broken bones. Thankfully there was no brain-damage, but he forever lives with shame and he does not mention it to this day. Anauel respects his wishes on not talking about the fight. Her deputy does not agree on Anauel's mercy.

And he agrees.

So now with the Cytagal's former defeat, he spars with Haniel, an equal fighter, and his only friend in the clan.
