Biography
"Such delightful trinkets, aren't they? I enjoy their sparkle." - ๐ฎ๐๐๐๐๐
Cathys takes great pride in the fact that she's one of the few guardian dragons that stayed within the protective fold of the Gunday clan. Brothers and sisters both before and after her all decided to serve the Gladekeeper instead of taking up a charge within the clan, and for that she feels that she is one who lacks cowardice. Perhaps going to serve a cause such as that is noble, but Cathys could not care less.
A dragoness of her parents' second clutch, from a young age it was quite clear that Cathys delighted in the hoarding of treasure and items. In her youth she would frequently swindle and steal items that caught her eye; the shiny ones were most often seen missing from the clan hoard.
Instead of punishing Cathys for her behavior, Cieget and Aitylth decided to put her passion to greater use. As soon as she came of age, her parents entrusted to her the entire clan hoard.
Cathys' charge was soon recognized as the guardian of the Gunday clan hoard and everything that resided in it. She now acts as the clan's treasurer, and it is very rare to find this dragoness lurking very far from their mound of gold and other collectible items.
Because of the ingrained nature of her breed, Cathys is steadfastly overprotective of her charge and would gladly die before letting any non-Gunday dragon touch their hoard. Most of the time, she can seem quite temperamental and waspish but can be quite generous once one truly gets to know her. This can be hard for those not in her clan, as she does not often give them the chance to get too close to her or their hoard.
