Avani is a dragon with many seasons under her wings, and while she may not say much out loud, she speaks plenty with her inks upon parchment and other materials as she writes down the chronicles of her long life. Many think it amusing that she does such a thing, but as a dragon who prides herself on her attentions to detail, Avani sees it as an advantage to share her knowledge with others and those who will follow them.

However, during the day she carefully watches over the flora of the territories that the tribe resides in, carefully ensuring that the changing seasons and tides do not damage any of the new species before they are able to reach their full growth.

Perhaps it is for this reason that her wings have developed a soft amber glow during the nights- long hours around previously unknown plant-life is one possible reason for the change, though it seems to hinder Avani little given that she uses her wings as a sort of makeshift lantern during the nights as she finishes her notes for the day.
