The tavern is a colder, darker place than the rest of the forge. Of course, the forge is blindingly bright and burning hot, so there's a wide variety of characters in it for much of the day.
Monarch and his adopted sister baguette are the main barkeeps; it seems like they don't see their business as a job, but rather, a way for them to wind down and have fun, and to help the forgeworkers do the same.

Most of the bar stools are occupied - the tavern is quite busy this late in the evening. Chatter and laughter is abound, and everyone is having a great time.

The tavern goes silent. A stranger has walked in, exhausted and thirsty from the heat. They lean against the doorway, making eye contact with the male barkeep. Time seems to stop.

The barkeep smiles. "Well, what are you waiting for? Come on in and introduce yourself!"
The tavern's customers cheer happily. the stranger smiles weakly, albeit slightly overwhelmed by the sudden noise, and takes a seat in the last stool available. 		85.png
