» He/him, Straight » Withereye king, leader and founder » Single The brambleguards will not let anyone through to the Court of Eyes, but thanks to some rotting holes in the floor above, one might be able to peek at the happenings below. A male mirror, whose scales shimmer between warm shades of pink and orange as he moves, can be seen scrawling onto a piece of paper at his desk. Though the shimmer of color took attention away from them, the mirror's body is also covered in a plethora of scars, the likes of which must have healed long ago. His lips are slightly curled into a tired frown, as if he seems impatient with this task... but his eyes are certainly the more defining feature of his face. Multiple orbs of green rested in between thick layers of scarred tissue—whether it was a wound or just natural was difficult to tell. The eyes seem to peer in every direction at once, changing only based on the lighting of the room and the movements of the dragon they belonged to. No matter who is watching, and from what angle, his eyes are always appearing to stare right back. Rumors float around the Withereye Clan that Pyrominx was abandoned as an egg, left as a hatchling at the mercy of the Wandering Contagion. Struggling day to day, eating any scrap of prey he could find.. yet somehow, staying civil. Assuming these rumors are true, it's very possible that this childhood experience would make him wary of other dragons, thus explaining the rarity of his public appearances. He is occasionally seen with those he trusts most, such as Arifan, the clan prophet, but beyond that spends a majority of his time in his study. The eldest of the clan recall that he was as timid as a wild Pocketmouse when he first reached out for them to join, and they will exclaim that he has improved vastly since then. Despite his reclusive nature, the members of the Withereye Clan are all in agreement that he is a kind, wise and organized leader that the clan would be doomed without. |
