Nature Sprite
Blooming Desert

QUIRK(S):
Migora's body has seasons, just as the world does. Most of the time she appears as a barren, cracked earth - until she blooms with nature energy and magic.

"I always choose to look, as much as one can, at the supernatural not being something that exists outside of nature, but a deeper, fundamental heart of nature that perhaps [dragons]... have lost touch with. It's a more primal thing than perhaps we are attuned to in our modern, self-aware way of life."

No one knew what to expect of Migora. When her egg cracked and one of her blooming eyes peeked out, everyone gasped in awe... and then the baby emerged. Many gasps and even one roar of denial were heard as they took a look at her wizened, barren-looking little body.

As a hatchling, Migora was much smaller than the others and her body was painfully thin and appeared dehydrated. As she grew, she filled out and smoothed a bit, but she still appeared as if her body were a lifeless piece of land. Only her eyes twinkled with the promise of more.

Until one day there was an accident. One of her best friends was hurt, dying. No one was there but Migora. Frightened, angry, and determined, the little one took a deep breath to see what she could do. But as she drew in breath, she could feel energy flowing to her through the ground. Her skin began to glow and her wings burst into bloom with shining flowers. Petals from the flowers fell onto the injured dragon at Migora's feet and began to heal his wounds.

Her clan realized that no one there could help explain what happened or assist Migora in perhaps being able to do it again on purpose. As such, the confused but exhilarated dragon clutched her pearl and left her home to find help and guidance.

Migora's instincts led her to the biggest source of natural energy she could find... which just so happened to be an elemental spirit in a body of stardust and magical energy. Her name was Medeina. She explained that she and her ten sibling spirits watch over a clan named Chaotic Daydreams; the lair was filled with unusual dragons of every sort imaginable. Migora was invited to stay and learn to access her inner nature magics.

After learning a lot from Medeina and the other spirits, Migora decided to try living with a new clan to see if she could help them out with her abilities. From time to time the pearlcatcher goes back to her family to tell them any progress, but her new home is with all the delightful dragons in her new lair.
