B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Moving To Neptune.

______ Mavenlark prefers to play things clean - well, the parts of it directly overseen by the Mother, at least - but when other clans give them trouble, it's Cleo to the rescue. Once a master pickpocket (still one when the pleasure presents itself), Cleo was taken in by the Mother after a particularly bungled patch of theft from the Arcanist's observatory resulted in her being thrown into a jail, where her previous string of crimes quickly caught up to her. With threat of permanent transport to the Icewarden, Cleo quickly accepted her defeat as a form of karma. But thanks to some tipoffs from former Mavenlark clan members who now served the deity, Bitestrith was alerted to Cleo's existence, who always presented herself as a friendly face to the guards overseeing her. Figuring that the clan was always in need of talented claws from all walks of life and moved by her former clanmember's pleas, Bitestrith bargained for the spiral's release with wit, charm, and a whole load of treasure. Cleo proved herself to the Mother by not immediately fleeing upon release, and now she works for her whenever the Mother needs things to get a bit...underhanded.

______ Bitestrith knows the value of a second chance, and Cleo has more than proven her belief in that. Cleo has proven invaluable in identifying points of weakness in Mavenlark’s security to the Guard. Cleo herself tends to be rather jovial, probably due to her overwhelming gratitude at not becoming a convict icicle. She gets along fairly well with the rest of the clan, though given her past, some of the Guard doesn’t entirely trust her yet. She has no interest in turning her "talents" on Mavenlark itself, and instead turns the bulk of them on efforts to help the Mother - and, yes, on the occasional tourist; what's the harm?

______ No, stealing technically isn't an artistic talent, but Cleo still calls the clan her home thanks to finding a mate in Moscato. The two quickly bonded over their torrid life experiences, and things fell into place from there.The Mother certainly welcomes any opportunity to keep a closer eye on Cleo, anyhow...a leader's trust can only afford to go so far.
