Scarlett is a simple person: it doesn’t take much to please her, as she’s very accustomed to living basically. The Fang prioritized practicality, skills, and ease of travel over comfort or opulence, and the nicest things she has are her painstakingly-crafted and -cared-for weapons. She’s honest about everything except her past, which she prefers to leave in shadow, and tends to deflect any deep, personal questions someone levels at her. She isn’t much for sweet talk but there’s something endearing about her straight-forwardness, as anyone she interacts with knows they’re getting exactly what they see. Though she has no one to admit it to, she’s never been comfortable being what she is. Being human has always been something she’s thirsted for, no pun intended, though it’s simple enough for her to pass for it. (Though the reddened heart scar on her face doesn’t help.)
